Why was I not informed of this?

Listen to this. No, really, LISTEN TO THIS. Sure, this goes all the way back to 2009, but this is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. And conservatives wonder why they're so stigmatized. With people like this talking for them, is it really a surprise?

  2. I don't think there are any words for something like this. Just flabbergasted sputtering. How. Why? Why do they have lungs to propel noise?

  3. How does Fox News function? Would they criticize me because I like my burgers plain?...

  4. They have been ****ing doing this for weeks now, whether it be saying he hates our troops because he saluted them with a latte in his hand, or criticizing him for golfing (on his vacation time, which he takes far more rarely than Bush did).

You know what I'm getting sick of more than anything in my country? It's the way politicians treat the way our country is run like a game, like the two major parties are on different teams fighting against each other. Filibustering is at an all-time high, where now it's the primary strategy for preventing bills from being passed, rather than using sound arguments and accepting defeat when the majority disagrees. Rush Limbaugh sees the world in Liberals-Did-It-O-Vision, where he finds a problem, and then ALWAYS attributes the blame to liberals. Right-wing terrorist attack? The liberals pushed them too far, clearly.

But the most egregious thing is that Republicans will criticize Obama no matter what he does, even if it's exactly what they want. Obama's helping ISIS by not attacking them? Have you not heard of the massive bombing runs he's actually doing? Obama's socializing healthcare? First of all, no, not at all, and secondly, this was a plan originally proposed by Mitt ****ing Romney. It's a conservative healthcare plan! They're acting like spoiled children, just against everything he does because he's 'on the other side'. The worst thing is that Obama isn't even 'on the other side' when you consider his views and actions. He's center-right at best. Actual liberals and progressives in this country would love to have someone FAR more liberal in charge, but then imagine how Republicans would act if that happened?

    1. Bingo. There's little to no true left-wing, well, anything in America. Even people like Obama, who are reviled for being so-called "communists", would probably have trouble identifying with the left in many other countries, including Canada.

    2. Politically speaking, our left-wings (at least in USA) are around the same if not to the right of many Scandanavian RIGHT-wing parties, and not far off from many right-wing parties in central/western Europe either. [Will only compare similar demos]. So if our left wing is their right wing, just imagine what that makes our right wing...

    3. Man my first comment was worded so badly, anywhom, my point is that it's not just what you guys are saying why America is a shit, GOP's are wanting less spending yet defense has been about 750bil a year, mostly counting just the army and naval bases worldwide, not counting surveillance, this is just the tip of all the shit, there's a good chance that i'm moving out in 12 years to some country once I finish education

  5. I think the saddest thing is that people are still surprised of learning Fox News aren't real news. Heck some people are ferociously defending them even up to this day. If any of them took a basic journalism classes they'd notice immediately Fox News tramples on everything journalism stands for.

    1. BUT MSNBC DOSE THE SAEM THING

(That was sarcasm, it goes without saying. Even if MSNBC has a certain degree of bias, there's a reason why they're not as much of a laughingstock as Fox News.)

    2. It's almost a running gag. I get basic journalism classes in my Languages and Cultures program and one of the first thing we learned was to never follow Fox News' example.
Also that's hilarious, because that's exactly what the mother of an American "net pal" of mine said after forcefully grabbing her phone to reply to me after she made the terrible mistake of telling her my thoughts on Fox. Surprisingly, said friend was still allowed to stay in contact with me after that incident.

That out of the way, it kind of feels like last week republicans were slandering Obama for being a pussy for not declaring war on ISIS, and this week they're slandering him for overstepping his authority by attacking ISIS.
