BW2 info - Six appeal

Still more stuff is being discovered, though it's mostly DW abilities at this point. Make sure to check it out though, there are huge finds in there!

- First off, more Hidden Hollow Pokémon: Wonder Skin Venomoth, which pales in comparison to Tinted Lens. But the big find, one that will deeply impact the metagame, is the introduction of IMPOSTER DITTO!

- Using the Dream Radar while a gen 4 game is in the cartridge slot will give you access to the mascot of that particular game. While Telepathy Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are useless, we also get Multiscale Lugia and Regenerator Ho-Oh out of the deal! Now there's no reason why they shouldn't become top threats in ubers, and it also pretty much cements Ho-Oh's position in the tier for a long, long time.

- Open mouth, insert foot. Turns out my assessment that the Dream World stuff was over may have been way off. You see, your Dream World scores for BW1 and BW2 are separate, meaning that you essentially have to start over with BW2. And there you start with two areas, the Sparkling Sea and the Icy Cave. This explains why we haven't seen any gen 5 Pokémon anywhere else, and as a result we may yet see a certain Pokémon in the depths of the Spooky Manor...

- For reference purposes, here are the areas that are labeled as "post-game" in BW2: everything from Twist Mountain to route 9, route 15, and everything past Skyarrow Bridge. Route 10 and most of the old Victory Road are completely gone, though you can access the upper floors of the latter from the League entrance.

- There really shouldn't be any reason why you should lose to the E4 this time around. Why am I saying that? Well, on route 23 you can find Audinos up to level 51. What you'll be facing in the League is in the 56-59 range. And from my experience, it's very, VERY easy to raise a team to level 60 from Audinos around level 50. For comparison's sake, the highest Audinos you can find in BW1's main game are level 36, and you face Pokémon in the 48-54 range at the League.

  1. I can see Lugia becoming an even bigger wall now, not just with Multiscale. The move tutors in B2 and W2 have made Multiscale and Roose a legal combination on Lugia, so Lugia can rid itself of it's rock and ice weaknesses for a turn.

  2. Imposter Ditto? I... I can't even... so happy...

Uh, yeah, that's a big chunk of the game post-gamed! lol I'll need to take another look at that map and see what kind of route they make you take.

Also, really enjoying your White walkthrough so far! Can't wait to see more of it! Will you be giving us new info through those videos as well now like you did in Platinum?

    1. As far as I know, once you're done in the Mistralton area you take a plane to the new town directly west of Undella, and from there you make your way to Opelucid. That's the major difference, that and you heading to Castelia from Virbank.

    2. Ah, I see.. so you go north through Lacunosa Town to Opelucid and then fly back to Undella to take the new route for the League? Well you can't accuse BW2 of being linear. lol xD

What's that tunnel-like key on the map from Driftveil through Castelia btw? lol

    3. It's a path that goes from the Castelia sewers to a new dungeon called the Relic Path, then finally over to the Fanservice Tournament.

  3. Screw the easy over-leveling, I'll beat them with nothing more than a team at Level 55. With a balanced team, no matter how bad each individual Pokemon is, you can still win. :P

I started to think that way after I saw somebody beat the Emerald Elite Four with a team consisting of a Torkoal, a Crawdaunt, a Plusle, an Exploud, an Aggron and a Tropius all at level 45 while having massive RNG Hax working against him and still having real trouble only against the Champion himself.

And if you're wondering, the reason I'm apparently so hyped up today is because I finally got a job ! I was starting to worry that I would never ever get one, oh god, what a relief !

  4. Something i don,t understand is why seconds evoultion is so hard to find! BW1 is the first game that made second evoultions avilable. I mean what,s the point of finding Herdier in the high 50s that should have evolved like 25 levels ago! Is this for pokemon whit one or none evoultions are weaker then the ones whit two evoultions? I don,t think so. I just find it bad. Why is wild Krookodile tex so freaking OP?

  5. Hey, Slow. You may already know this or have mentioned it but Fennel gives you a level 10 Eevee with it's Dream World ability on the final floor of the building in Castelia City where Team Plasma was hiding out in BW1. I think I remember there being a Dream World event for the Eeveelutions a while back. But it could be interesting for breeding. Just letting you know.

    1. I actually plan on using a Magic Bounce Espeon in Black 2 so that's kinda cool I guess.

    2. Don't plan that for your main team, that Eevee is after game only.

    3. What? Wow, thanks for the heads up I actually didn't know that, I guess I'll settle for a non-DW Vaporeon for my team.

  6. Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention the after game part. Kind of important, huh.
