Subtlety, thy name is not J.C. Smith.

Exhibit A. It's not like there's a flower Pokémon with an unreleased form that comes with its own stats and signature move or anything.

Exhibit B. We all know Z/XY2/whatever it ends up being called is coming sooner than later. The only valid question is whether they'll go out of their way to have it come out on February 27 or not.

  1. Plot twist: the game he's referring to in Exhibit B will be a Pokemon game that involves lots of gardening.

...Nah, who am I kidding. That's about as explicit as you can get without outright saying "You're getting AZ's Floette and Z/X2/Y2."

  2. I always wondered how aware these guys were of their games being datamined and whatnot.

    1. Also Slow, off topic, but what ever happened to this videos you made making fun of the old gen 1 sprites? I just noticed they aren't up anymore.

    2. It's creepy that you mentioned that because I just noticed the exact same thing tonight as well.

    3. He took them down because he felt they kinda lacked in quality...

    4. Well, I thought otherwise, but fair enough.

  3. We're actually well overdue for the deluxe version(s), if I recall. I'm surprised there hasn't been an announcement yet.

    1. If gen 7 starts late 2017, it actually makes sense for the game to come out about halfway between ORAS and the first gen 7 games.

  4. I honestly haven't been playing ORAS at all, really. For some reason I refuse to do any online play when everyone is May and Brendan (whose new models I find quite ugly anyways). Since X and Y are for the most part incompatible with ORAS (the lack of patch baffles me to this day) I really haven't been playing Pokemon for about a year now.

Yes, yes, smogon and showdown and everything. Although I've never really been one for super-competitive pokemon and it's more fun for me to play on ds wifi. The lack of banned stuff such as baton chains allows you to pull off Bellsprout sweeps and shit on unsuspecting noobs without having to deal with Anything Goes. Odd, I suppose, that I have more fun doing trollish things than being serious and whatnot.

It'll be nice to get Z (I assume that it will be Z because Zygarde, though there was Kyurem and we got sequels instead, so anything could happen) and maybe then I'll get back into the game. Who knows?

  5. It'll probably be Z (probably not X and Y 2 because of the small issue of Zygarde blatantly looking like a Z. My roommate things there's a possibility for XZ and YZ instead). And for all ORAS kinda went back on some aspects that were even in Emerald (Battle Frontier (here's to hoping it comes back in Z), Match Call, Meteor Falls's colors), competitive training is easier than ever in it. Even with the lack of a truly mindless way to hatch eggs...

    1. XZ and YZ are my guess, if X and Y were indeed a genetics thing. Makes sense, too, since Zygarde has two signature moves; one for each game's form?

  6. This will be intresting to see, but I have the leaning edge on XZ and YZ being what it is

  7. I hope it's not XZ and YZ because it will take sometime for me to get used to the names. I'm praying for a Z. By the way, Slowflake, when he next games are a thing, refer back to this and explain to me how it will relate to flowers because I am slow and don't catch on.

That was sarcasm, AZ's Floette is an unobtainable Pokémon found in the game's code that has much bigger stats than a regular Floette and a massive recoil move, kind of like a more accurate, less powerful Head Smash. It can't use the Eviolite or evolve into Florges, though.
