Today is a very special day.

Because we can celebrate someone dying and not look like the worst excuse for a human being in the process. Farewell Mr. Phelps, the world is truly a better place with you gone.

Right now I wish hell actually existed, just so I could imagine his total disbelief upon ending up there.

  1. So, off the topic of this, but Slow, do you still have your White 2 save file?

  2. Don't get too excited, the guy most likely taking over is an even bigger douche than Freddy was (Steve Drain, some guy who converted into the church and a male elder), and has many more years to go. That said, the fact that not even his family is shedding tears over his demise--albeit due to their fucked up beliefs that deprive them of basic humanity well outside what any sane Christian would believe--is a proper way for his existence to end. Now he can rot in the ground at a potter's field.

    1. The way I see it, one less intolerable trashbag hatemonger can NEVER be a bad thing, no matter who comes after him.

    2. I guess, but intolerable assholes are like ants. Get rid of one, another comes around. Can't rid of them all, but you can make them a nuisance rather than a hazard.

  3. Sorry for my naïveté, but can someone enlighten me on who this guy Phelps was besides being an overall terrible person?...

    2. Ah. Would his Hell be the room of a harem full of gay guys?...

    3. They don't belong in hell though?

    5. Oh, they do. They're hypocrites if their logic is living like Jesus. Do you like my idea of their personalized section of Hell? The part where they're in a room with a harem of gay people of the same gender?...

    6. It's pretty good, but honestly I prefer the one where Islamic terrorists who die get 72 virgins... which are actually D&D nerds. (Not calling all D&D players nerds, mind you, because I'm aware I'm hardly better.)

    8. Well, I was referring more to Phelps's Hell, specifically. Of course the Islamic terrorists' ironic hell is much more satisfying to think about...

  4. Uhh, Slowflake, was this sarcasm?

I don't condone celebrating death no matter who it is. A lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon making trashy fb statuses about it and it's just petty.

    1. This is someone who condemed peoples beliefs, how do they deserve any right to live? Your attitude reminds me of the Archbishop of Canterbury who claimed that Bin Laden didn't deserve to die, you know, the guy who arranged fucking 9/11.

    2. And all the bandwagoners now are the same people who cheered for Osama's murder. I'm not trying to say he's a good person or he doesn't deserve it. I just think it reflects poorly on the rest of us when we react this way.

  5. I am well aware of the shameful, hateful actions of the Westboro Baptist Church, but reacting to the founder's death in a hateful way seems like just the thing he would want. That being said, you know you are doing something very, very wrong when the f-ing KKK has the moral high ground against you: http://www.torontosun.com/2011/05/31/kkk-counterprotests-extremist-church-group
