Nobunaga to get international release

After much doubt over whether a game based on 16th century Japan would be worth an international release, it's finally been confirmed! June 18 is the date in North America (smack in the middle of the TSG Pokémon marathon at that), and the title is much less of a mouthful as well: Pokémon Conquest. Looking forward to it!

Oh, and the official site confirms that they're not touching warlord/warrior names, either. Good.

  1. Well, that's it for the fan translation, then. I'm guessing there'll be a definite UK release, too.

  2. Oh, good, the names are untouched. I was afraid of that, because Serebii mentioned the change of 'Bushou' to 'Warlord', which scared me a bit. Personally, I'd rather not fight a guy from that time period in that country with the name 'Rick'.

But I'm very much looking forward to this. The release is closer than I thought it would be, too.

  3. I got the Japanese version, and its good. But I know Japanese to a certain extent, and the gameplay was very addicting. Obviously, I'll be passing on the American release, but I'm glad it came over here and they didn't change the names.
