Official Let's Play #17 announcement

As I promised in the Banjo-Kazooie finale, and after a few technical difficulties I had to sort out, I am now ready to reveal the Let's Play that will be done once S3&K is finished!

  1. Seeing as you seem to be moving towards GameCube LPs, is there a chance that you could be doing a Super Mario Sunshine LP in the future?

    1. No, that game requires the kind of shoulder buttons the Gamecube has. And more importantly, it's a very meh kind of game.

  2. I just squeed louder than a Chuggaa fangirl. And I'm a dude. Whoa.

Dunno why, but this caught me totally off guard; I suppose I forgot all about Zelda while I was watching Banjo Kazooie! :O

A shame TP won't follow, since you'd never touch the GCN version... Someone mail Slow a capture card~!

  3. YESYESYESYESYESYES

    I can't wait!

(While Sunshine requires the pressure-sensitive triggers, do you think an LP of Twilight Princess might be a possibility too? After all, it is your favorite Zelda game. [Unless SS is your new favorite, no word on that.])

    1. I've said it before and I'll take it to the grave: there's no reason to play TP if it's not on Wii.

    2. I disagree with that. I like the GC version more because it's the original, while the Wii version is a flipped port. Now, that doesn't affect gameplay, but if it's a choice between an original and a port with changes, I'd feel more comfortable playing the original.

Also, TP's controls just seem... Unfinished, especially compared to SS. Without Wiimotion+, the motion seems pretty tacked-on. The best part was aiming with the bow, but you can find that infrared sensor technology in plenty of other Wii titles. All in all, while SS convinced me that motion controls can be done well and enhance the experience, I prefer the GC controller to TP's underwhelming motion controls.

  4. I was genuinely shocked by this, but then again after you're statement about Banjo Tooie I didn't know what to expect

  5. This is a LP I'm very looking forward to.
I miss this game so much... I'm such an idiot for not buying it when I had the chance...
I have no contact with the guy that could lend me the game anymore...
I'm so retarded when it comes to long-term planning.

  7. I've been looking everywhere to try and find Wind Waker (the one Zelda game I don't own) Hope you have fun LPing it

  8. Hooo, boy, you're in for a time getting enough Rupees to pay Tingle! *butler voice* Shall I prepare the 80s montage for you, sir?

    1. That's what you think. Money's so commonplace in this game I spend more time fighting against the 5000-rupee limit than I do grinding for rupees.
