Mystery Dungeon stream tomorrow

As mentioned on Serebii a while ago (though he didn't give a link unfortunately), there's a 24-hour MD stream that starts tomorrow at 7 AM Eastern. Most of it will be dedicated to MD2, but there's also going to be some MD4 stuff thrown in as well.

Is there anything in particular you want to see out of this game? I personally wouldn't mind the return of the IQ system. The lousy replacement we got in MD3 just didn't cut it for me. But hey, they brought back hunger which was (for the most part) axed in MD3, so it's a good sign that they're going back to the series' roots (while also adding some of MD3's better features, such as leveling up moves).

  1. Maybe TMs could be reusable, just like in the main series today? That may be wishful thinking on my part, but I'd like to believe that it would be an excuse to return to MD2's difficulty. I, too, would like to see the return of the IQ system. I wouldn't mind extra flashback missions, either.

    1. Yeah, that could work... maybe make them a bit rarer in exchange. I mean, you can still find multiple copies of any given TM in a game like this, but not anymore in the main series.

Problem is, though, what would Recycle do then? (Not to mention, unlike in MD2 Recycle itself is no longer a TM, seriously reducing its learnbase.)

And now that I think of it, reusable TMs with no restriction whatsoever would make leveling up moves incredibly easy. Just stack your TM of choice on four Pokémon, go to the shortest dungeon, spam your move, repeat. (That makes Recycle even more valuable, come to think of it...)

    2. Recycle already wasn't a TM in MD1, so the seriously reduced learnbase wouldn't be as big of a deal.

  2. I'm most interested in seeing how this stream will be conducted. Will it be the same dude playing MD2 for 20+ hours?

  3. There is one thing I really want to see from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, a way to get pokemon with their hidden abilities.

    1. Yeah, that too. Them not being in MD3 was even more of a surprise than 500 Pokémon going missing for no reason.
