100 coins in Tick Tock Clock is easy.

If you can't do it with your eyes closed, there's something seriously wrong with your synapses.

  1. I don't think there's anything particularly difficult in Mario 64 besides that stupid Wing Cap area on the top floor.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Mario marathon. Care to fill us in on what happened?

    1. There was a donation war to get people to do this star, and everyone was desperate to get out of it. Eventually Chase "won" out, and he's been at it for hours. As of this writing, he just died with 98 coins.

Anyway, that star you mentioned? Not that hard. Rainbow Ride 100 coins is pretty much the only star I'd call difficult. Everything else is mildly challenging at best.

    2. Different strokes, I suppose. I could never figure that area out, and I'm pretty sure you can get stuck in some way. Wing Cap momentum controls are one of my least favorite parts of Mario 64. As for RR 100 coins, I never had trouble with that. The coin maze has so many blue coins, and I never had a problem with the carpet platforming.

    3. Getting to the blue coins is the problem, though, because wall jumps are a lot more strict than in subsequent games, and you only get one shot. And once you got them, your anus is so tight for the rest of the run because you don't want to do that again, so you can make mistakes over the stress.

    4. I'm with ShadianVise on this one. I practised the timings of the wall jumping before I did the actual thing. It made my time much simpler and I was able to keep my cool for the rest of the coin hunt. The Wing Cap momentum can die in a hole though.

    5. Speaking of coins Slowflake, for the gsc card flip, I found the best strategy is to do a 1 of 6 row that gives you 18 coins, and then the 1x24 single card that gives you 72. Is that what you did because you spent a lot of time there during your Crystal run.
