THANK GOD. And with a 74% majority, no less. I really expected it to be closer, a lot of people seemed to want it back, at least early on. Maybe they realized how stupidly strong it really was. Let us not mention the name of this monstrosity until gen 7 hits. (Which is more and more likely to be at least two years from now, given the total lack of any announcement for whatever the next game is supposed to be.)
Edit: Changed the post's title, because MasterLemon's idea was so great I couldn't pass it up.
Considering the only thing I can think of that would consistently (well, as close as one can get) stop it is Sableye, yeah. Even there, it would be something specifically made to counter Aegislash. And it would have to be out before boosts happen. Basically, keep that thing in Ubers, where at least some of the standards can actually handle it consistently...
ReplyDeleteReally, one of the few weaknesses this thing has is guessing horribly wrong with King's Shield and whatnot. It's so brutally overcentralizing that total shit becomes viable just to counter the thing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what's your opinion on the next Pokemon game that Gamefreak half-announced? Do you care for a Sinnoh remake, or Z (?), or move on to gen7? Personally, I think it's far too soon for Gen7, and gen4 remakes should wait a generation- one remake a generation is enough.
Zygarde has two unused signature moves, the same amount as Kyurem, only Zygarde's actually have use. I'd probably opt for Z...I still doubt Delta Emerald is happening, of course...
DeleteWhat kind of idiot thinks Sinnoh remakes are happening anytime in the near future? Heck, if gen 7 stays on the 3DS somehow, it's not happening until gen 8. Guaranteed.
DeleteApparently there are plenty of people who do. I don't care either way, but as it does feel awfully soon.
DeleteRemember, this is the Pokemon fandom; while not as bad as Sonic's fanbase by a long shot, there are plenty of less rational people, even besides genwunners.
Well at least Sinnoh is starting to get SOME credit, so it's not a total loss.
DeleteMy personal favorite generation, actually. Perhaps because it was my first. Nonetheless, Unova2 and Kalos come very close.
DeleteI would've quoted Final Fantasy 7 to describe the ban had the carrier of the large sword in the game had any memorable lines which aren't corny.
