Breloom apparently doesn't exist. Who knew?

Before Amoonguss came, you (NDLR: Parasect) were the ultimate powder user, being one of just a few fully evolved Pokémon with access to Spore

Good job, PotW. Forgetting about Breloom is no easy feat, and you managed to do it in stellar fashion.

  1. Hehe. Implying Parasect is anything but complete crap. Even Chuggaaconroy knows Parasect is one of the worst Pokemon...

    1. I laughed at the whole 'Parasect is workable' bullshit. Parasect is a terrible Pokemon, no questions about that. Then again, the POTW writers probably believe that Breloom is a forgettable Pokemon that needs a Mega Evolution.

    2. Its weaknesses being its only problem is a total lie, too. Look at its miserable BST of 405. Sure, Breloom and Amoonguss have surprisingly low BSTs, but at least they're in the 460s. Not barely over 400.

    3. I get the feeling that they got Parasect's BST mixed up with the ROM that TwitchPlaysPokemon used, where they buffed up the stats of a few pokemon, including Parasect. If that's what happened, then that's even greater stupidity.

    4. That and Breloom and Amoonguss, especially Breloom, have the highest stats in places they can use them decently in...

  2. Holy crap, really? Breloom and Smeargle are THE spore users, how is it even possible to forget them? If anything, Parasect is the forgettable one.

    1. Well they do mention "without Sketch" at some point, and many Smeargle users will prefer Dark Void just for those pesky Grass-types. But forgetting about Breloom is a horrible, horrible crime. We're talking about a Pokémon that was nerfed incredibly badly, and yet is still mid-OU here.

  3. That's it. Either Serebii fires the current PotW writing faction and replaces them with competent writers(unlikely, since Serebii doesn't seem to be extremely strict) or postpone the section until a complete overhaul can be made and the current writers improve. This is just undeniably embarrassing.

    1. He did fire one of the writers (BlueHarvest) after ethical misconduct. But yeah, I doubt they would be fired for incompetency.
