Did Zant get much better for you? I find him still one of the worst characters in the game even with the buff.
ReplyDeleteAlso surprised to see Epona so low, I find her to be one of the most destructive movesets in the game.
And lastly, I am glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think Young Link is as broken as MS Link and Volga, everyone I have talked to says he is the new god tier character.
Young Link is only as good as the amount of enemies nearby. In those missions where you're up against a limited amount of strong enemies, or giant bosses and such, he's almost worthless.
DeleteAnd yes, Zant got a lot better for me. Not incredible, but he can at least hold his own, and be fun to play. He can even kill peons with his spin2win now! As for Epona, I just find it incredibly awkward to control. It's not terrible, in fact nothing really is with Zant's buffs, but it just feels so awkward.
Pretty agreeable. I haven't messed with the DLC characters much so I can't say anything about them. I'd just say the Naginata deserves to be average tier as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm don't have time to dissect the entire list, but I'll just say that I would push up Book of Sorcery, Agitha and the Rapier, and push down the Magic Rod and Tingle. I definitely still think the BoS is Lana's best weapon, and same with the Rapier for Zelda. I initially loved the Magic Rod and thought it was great, but I really don't do anything with it besides C3 and occasionally C2, and it feels really weak. The range is nice, though. Tingle... I'm not sure if I just don't know how to use him yet, but he seems absolutely terrible.
ReplyDeleteI guess I kinda like the movesets with the one ridiculously good move, like Fi, the Magic Rod or Tingle. To be quite honest, without that one move they have they'd be right there at the bottom.

DeleteC5. You know, the one where he goes into the air, bombs the crap out of everyone and everything nearby, then tosses everything that was hit into a giant ball of soon-to-be-corpses, which then explodes with crazy range.
