The shortest notice for an event ever

As in, NONE. Out of the blue Europe gets a Contrary Serperior. Too bad we were all working off the assumption that it was going to stay Japan-only, and everyone interested already got one off the GTS or from a friend mass-breeding them. Oh well, if you have the European version of ORAS you can get yours now. Password is still POKEMON497.

Edit: It's now available in North America as well.

    I'm pretty disappointed in the event Tyrunt not getting Rock Head like they promised. We totally didn't have enough sturdies already.

      When Tyrunt evolves into Tyrantrum, Sturdy will become Rock Head. When that happens, Tyrantrum becomes a brutal Head Smasher. Sure Aggron and Relicanth also have STAB, recoil-less Head Smash but Tyrantrum has something neither of those pokemon have: Dragon Dance. Tyrantrum with Dragon Dance + Head Smash + Rock Head is more devastating than DD-Mega Tyranitartar

      In terms of Rock-type firepower, maybe. But Tyranitar is leaps and bounds better at everything else. Tyrantrum is so easily revenge-killed that Choice Band and LO + Rock Polish are probably better choices. It's not going to become OU overnight. Maybe it can climb up to UU. Maybe. After all, it's not like Strong Jaw was bad or anything. You have to give up that to get Rock Head.

      I was thinking more along the lines of head smash Tyrunt in little cup, considering how pathetic Cranidos is, even with a choice scarf. But apparently it doesn't even learn the move until it evolves, so who cares. There's the neutrality to u-turn going for Tyrantrum over Ttar, but the atrocious special defense renders it useless in OU, despite the relatively cool defensive typing for a rock. At least it'll always be better than standard Aggron ever was at doing anything.
