So that's why NU didn't quickban Serperior.

They just figured RU would do it for them, so taking care of it themselves would've been a waste of effort. Well it's not banned from RU yet, but it's being tested alongside Mega Pidgeot (self-explanatory) and Dragalge, which ORAS greatly improved thanks to Adaptability.

As a side note, between that, Rock Head Tyrantrum and the gen 5 starters, this means that the only Pokémon left that still don't have their hidden abilities are the gen 2 starters, the gen 1, 2 and 3 legendary trios, Heatran, Aurorus, Gourgeist-S and Gourgeist-L. FERALIGATR FAN RAGING INTENSIFIES.

  1. Remember in gen 5 when the dream world said it would be ready in five minutes and never loaded? Or early in gen 5 when people were worried about Shadow Tag Chandelure? Glad we don't have to worry about any of that any more.

    1. Oh, someone just loves his Charizard, doesn't he? The Defog buff made this totally unnecessary. l2p scrub

    2. I'd say it's pretty balanced by now, since it mainly challenges some of the better OUs (Given Talonflame's dominance and very solid Charizards) and is that easy to deal with- if you don't have any SR protection on anything short of a Sandstorm team (not sure why you'd want that, but...) you're kinda messing up.

    3. At least Talonflame and Ho-Oh live up to the hype...And I kinda like Moltres. Not a big fan of Mega Charizard X, but I do like Y...

  3. Stealth rock was pretty warped and overpowered in gens 4-5, but GF's apparently decided to design the new sr-weak pokemon around it. Both mega Charizards and Talonflame can be absolute bitches to deal with, without stealth rock limiting their amount of switch-ins.

  4. Of the ones that don't have their DW abilities yet, only the Gen 2 Starters, Moltres, and the Gen 2 Legends are really crying for them...

    1. Meh, you might as well just say the dogs, Typhlosion and Feraligatr. Flame Body's worth over Pressure, while not nonexistent, is still rather marginal, and Leaf Guard is just bad enough that Overgrow might actually be better.
