Kingdra has a limited and versatile movepool.

Oh Serebii, where did you find these hack writers?

  1. Something tells me Serebii doesn't have the time to check basic mistakes like this and just posts this sort of stuff as is.

He really needs someone to check it all for him. Or re-write it all together.

  2. Out of curiosity, which one is it actually? I never hear much about Kingdra.

    1. Limited. It's actually really embarassing. It doesn't even have enough to make Dragon Dance work, and it has just barely enough to use a Specs set.

    2. And oh god, the time before the phys/spec split...
Not just for Kingdra alone, of course.

    3. At least Kingdra gets Outrage for the Dragon Dance set...
On the other hand, after the physical/special split, the plight of the likes of Sceptile was astounding...

    4. What did Sceptile have before the split, anyway? Leaf Blade at 70 power? Well, 90 power physical Leaf Blade is stronger, Energy Ball has always been stronger than Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw got replaced by Dragon Pulse. So all it lost was special Crunch and Thunder Punch. And it got Leaf Storm, on top of everything.

    5. You're talking like Crunch and Thunder Punch are minor losses. Look at its special movepool, all it has is Grass, Fighting and Dragon. Absolutely pathetic.

  3. Maybe they meant "yet" instead of "and"? It's untrue, but it makes more logical and grammatical sense.

    1. Not at all. In the new format, they list all the pros and cons separately and Kingdra's movepool is listed both as a Pro (saying it's versatile) and as a Con (saying it's limited).

  4. When I first read the article, it said Goirgeist again before clicking on Kingdra's silhouette...

  5. "Serebii: Pokemon of the Weak", as I have decided to call it.
