Christian Weston Chandler can suck it too.

If you don't know who he is, great, keep it that way. If you do... well, I'm currently going over a reading of his masterpiece of shit, Sonichu, and it's just frightening me in ways the normal human mind cannot comprehend. And it goes far beyond the mere idea of "wow, this is shit". The guy's defining trait, as far as I'm able to tell, is that he's somewhere in the autistic spectrum. Well, so am I (though considering this blog and my previous works, you probably don't need me to tell you that). And it horrifies me that this guy would have the exact same disorder I do. I have that much in common with him. Like if I took a single wrong turn somewhere in life, I would've ended up like this guy. I'm eternally grateful to my parents for pushing me into making the efforts needed to turn up relatively normal (which only really happened because I was diagnosed at age 21, to be fair).

Wanna know the most bone-chilling part of this whole thing? Skip to 10:25 of this video (then feel free to watch the whole reading if you feel like you have too much faith in humanity). Also, look at the ID of the video in the URL. It LITERALLY reads "holy fuck". Even YouTube's random ID generator knows what's up.

  1. Now, you know why I hate that guy so much, Slow...

    1. Though to be blunt, it's more so his personality than his comic. His comic is still the reason web comics fall to Sturgeon's Law...

    2. Yeah, I've heard the tales of him genuinely thinking he's God's gift to the universe, throwing tantrums whenever anyone (including SEGA THEMSELVES, apparently) makes fun of his work, that kind of stuff.

And yes, you read that right. I can't confirm this, but I've heard that at some point the company that gave us Sonic 2006 poked fun at Sonichu. Let that sink in for a moment.

    3. What...
Okay, if it's confirmed to be true, I really need to see it. He's older than us, but he acts like a child (apparently, he even still lives with mommy dearest)...
I actually joked that he and the admin of Sonic Passion should meet. Just make sure they don't breed. Then again...it could be seen as too cruel to one of them...Or it could end the world, having two insane, delusional people together...

Obligatory sharing why were fucked in the head! I have ADHD!

    1. But on a more serious note, I was only somewhat aware that you were autistic- I recall you once mentioning something about Asperger's, but that's about it. I would assume it's not really at the same level of others, since even if you can be a little rage-tastic at times, you definitely are one of the most sensible and level-headed people I know of (especially by internet standards). I suppose that that's more of a personal thing to ask, though, and I'm not sure how you would feel about that. In any case, I had no idea until you brought it up.

    2. Eh, I have Asberger's as well. And the thing with Asberger's, as far as I understand it, it isn't so much that we're prone to rages or irrationality. It's that we simply aren't able to pick up on social cues as well as other people, at least, not without someone to teach us. And since Asberger's generally comes with OCD, it also means we can easily get sidetracked from, say, homework, and we can also get really obsessive about things that most people would be all "dude, chill out!"

But of course, Asberger's isn't really even a weakness on it's own. That same thing that can allow us to obsess over things, that also allows us to be incredibly talented at whatever really catches out interest, so long as we don't let personality factors get in our way.

So to have this guy doing what he does...I both kind of feel sad for him (since, as far as I know, he might actually believe his excuses :( ... ), and I'm worried about him making the rest of us look bad.

    3. When I'm mad, I ham it up a little, though. This guy? Probably not.

    4. In any case, it's great that you didn't wind up like... that guy.

  4. Oh it gets better. He was also some creepy stalker who I think drew himself fingering some girl he knew. Also, I find it quite offensive how he uses Autism as his sip-line through life.

  5. That is the least of which this guy can do.

  6. CWC uses his autism as an excuse to be horrible to everyone and thinking he can get whatever he wants.

    1. See, that's why I'm glad I was diagnosed so late. If I hadn't, I might've used my Asperger's as a crutch to do whatever I might've done, which might've included behavior like that.

  8. -_- Every god damn time! And I never learn!

Whatever long story short because I don't feel like typing it all over again, I have Aspergers, OCD, and Dyslexic. Yay I'm retarded! Whatever I need to go play some Smash Bros. before I toss my computer out the window.

EVERY GOD DAMN TIME! IT DELETES MY COMMENT!

I had to remake this comment alone 5 times.

    2. You have all that and you're still infinitely better off than CWC. The handicaps don't make the man, the man makes the handicaps. Or something.

    4. I'd say I'm surprised, but the more I look at his work, the more it seems the rabbit hole is going to reach China at some point.

    5. Apparently it was just for a few hours before he stood trial.

    6. The full version of my comment I talked about how I always thought a late diagnosis was better than an early one because getting a diagnosis so early will mess with how you view the world but a late one let's you grow up being normal to the best of your ability without having a diagnosis to lean on as a crutch.

    7. Also I watched that entire Let's Read of Sonichu yesterday and I regret it. That is the stuff of nightmares.

    8. Any word that calls him a sociopath and his work an insult to art is way too nice. Also, I was 15 when I was diagnosed. I consider that borderline, especially since I also had depression...

    9. I'm not too far in, but I already miss MageKnight404. Has ANY self-insert ever turned out okay?

    10. I was about to bring up how...good (?) he made MageKnight look. At least he wasn't the mayor of Unova. No self-insert will ever be good, you don't see George in 'Of Mice and Men' as the mayor of JSVille.

  9. As a person who was diagnosed with autism form a very young age my young adult development was hindered until other people that did not know of my condition treated me as a normal person and started to expect more out of me. BTW, never even crossed my mind that you were on the spectrum in all the years I've watch your videos and read your blog.

    1. I recall him saying as much in a comment a while back (I think someone used the word "autism" pejoratively and Slowflake got on his ass about it). But yeah, till then I didn't suspect it. I mean, granted I have a limited view of him being his discussion mostly being Pokemon related (since he mostly LP'd that series) and idk, the fact that English isn't his native language helps mask some of the cues one could see.
