The "World Connector" achievement is bullshit.

This is the one where you have to have a full friend list (100), for the record. However, the problem lies in the fine print. Not only do you need to swap friend codes with 100 people, but they also all have to have Pokémon X or Y (and have checked in online at least once, of course). Every. Last. One. Of. Them. What if there's one friend you have that doesn't have it, and isn't interested in it? And "one of them" will be a low estimate in most situations. So unless you're willing to go through the effort of deleting them, adding other people who do have the game, getting the achievement, then deleting those guys to add your friends back, you are SO fucked. This achievement is a gluttonous hog that devours your friend list just to make sure that everyone you know has the game too. The only silver lining is that it doesn't require Google-. Other than that... yeah, this achievement is garbage, good luck getting it. It worked in BW2 because it had an independent friend list that was just for it, but this relies on a friend system shared by all 3DS games. That's the key word. SHARED. This game doesn't want to share, it's all or nothing! So who thought doing this was a good idea, again?

  1. Is it even possible to delete friends? I'm looking at the friend list and I see no option anywhere that says anything about deleting.

    1. I remember seeing something about removing them. I think you have to click your own thing, though...

    2. Oh I see it's under settings. Well that explains why I never found it, Because deleting friends is not a setting so why would I think to look there?

    4. No, ol' Ninty wants you to be friends with 100 people that buy every single game in the 3DS' library forever.

Sorry about the sourness, I am just beyond pissed.

    5. I was talking sarcastically about the option to delete Friends being hidden in the Settings. I think that Achievement has more to do with GameFreak than Nintendo.

  2. I think you can also, like, add in-game friends by interacting with passer bys to get them to acquaintances then getting them to friends
those go into the in-game friends list but i don't believe they get added to your actual 3ds friends list

    1. No they go to your actual 3DS friend list. I have added three people that way.

    1. The achivement is the reward.
It's just a medal added to your list on the global link website

  4. Not to pour salt on your wounds, but since there's a few here who may still be missing a few safari folk, thought I'd point out that a friend of mine is reshuffling his friend safari twice a day (long story short, getting his main 3DS fixed and is using his spare to do this for kicks) until he gets a ditto in his. Just give your FC and he'll add you (he has a lot of free time....)
