Mewtwo alternate form actually Mewtwo alternate form?

Seems like it, at least. It was added to Serebii's gen 6 Pokémon page, and there he says that it's referred to as Mewtwo's Éclair form on the poster that was leaked last week. So, um, how did it go over the heads of so many people? Surely people fluent in Japanese would've spread the news.

Also, Éclair form, huh? That may be foreshadowing for a Psychic/Electric typing (remember the Electro Ball event from a while ago? Suddenly would make a lot more sense), or maybe it transforms into that form by gobbling down delicious pastries? Who knows. What I do know is, this guy looks like a Levitator. Psychic/Electric levitator please!

  1. I bet this thing will evolve into Mewtwo Obesity, haha.

  2. HAY GUIS THIS PROVES THEIR WIL BE A NEW TYPE CALLD FOOD TYPE. (I know there has to be someone who will think that)
But in all seriousness what is the non-pastry eclair? I couldn't find anything on it with Wikipedia or Google and I'm not really inclined on spending my whole day looking it up...

    1. If that is true (this being the Psychic/Electric alternate Forme of Mewtwo), then well played, Game Freak...

  3. Serebii has put a lot of bull on his website in the past, so I'm not gonna believe this straight away. I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just saying maybe you shouldn't take it as fact straight away.

    1. Haven't seen anything worth calling "bull" in eons. You're thinking of Pokébeach there.

    2. Don't you remember the fake Gen V scan three years ago? The one that had the American football fish with the beard? I know that a lot of other fansites said it as well, but Serebii still fell for it.

    3. And it was the only time in the last seven years that Serebii reported on fake news.

    4. And just to add to that, it's easy to remember the very few times he screws up because we all see it, but what about the many, many times he doesn't and we don't notice it because he didn't say a thing? Remember when Pokébeach posted stuff from an "inside source" about items that had an effect on the battlefield such as acid rain, a Tauros evolution called Minotauros, and lots of other things that also turned out to be fake? Well, the guy who runs Pokébeach is a friend of Serebii's, and he didn't even trust him enough to post about that! And don't get me started on the alternate form placeholder data bullshit...

Not to mention, we shouldn't even be talking about honest mistakes here. If this turns out to be false, that's not an honest mistake, that's a lie, pure and simple. The guy clearly knows some Japanese, after all. And one thing he never did was knowingly lie about something.

    5. I guess you're right. And I used to be friends with him, so I have to trust him I guess. But I'm still not treating it as fact until Bulbagarden confirm it (even though I hate their guts, the only reason I like is because of the awesomeness that is Bulbapedia).

  4. Considering how they are usually very stingy with dual typings with the Eletric type, I can't help but get my hopes up for this one. My disappointment will be all your fault later on, Slowflake. :P

(Psychic/Electric with Levitate ? ME WANT. ALL OF MY WANTS.)

  6. A Psychic/Electric type would be pretty cool. Let me guess they are going to make a new Celebi form too... But it is not very likely.

  7. And CoroCoro confirms it. It's a new Mewtwo forme. Fanboys are going to be loading their fangs.
