So, how 'bout that mass exodus?

Yeah.

I can seriously imagine some of these people really looking for a country to move to, only to find out that even with Obama (who's not the most impressive liberal by anyone's standards but America's) at the helm, they really DO live in the last bastion where people who missed the jump to the 20th century can make a career as politicians. (So that's what they mean by "land of opportunity".) How about we ship Quebec's provincial government south of the border? That should scare the entire digestive tract out of them - they're so far to the left it makes even me sick to my stomach. If they thought Obama of all people was a socialist, they're going to see what being treated as living, breathing ATMs is REALLY like.

    1. I concur with the both of you. A lot of Republicans (I have to live in the area where there are quite a few) make Americans look like idiots (to other countries, it would seem that we do not need much help). Thank goodness my father is independent as a voter, for he does not WANT to be associated with either label. Maybe one of us should get the power to control their dreams at will and make them dream that America was, for some reason, making the country just like Quebec. Sure, it would make no logical sense (since when do dreams have to), but it would scare them into being silent. Me? I would not make my girlfriend abort/become bi myself, but I do condone having free will. Heck, ship those bastards who seem hypocritical TO Austrailia or Quebec and see how they feel. This has been another unnecessarily long rant by your good friend Ness Prower...

    2. Mitt Romney kinda sounds like a modern U.S. version of Maurice Duplessis, except that his views in this current era gave him a big handicap on his credibility. Either way, the U.S. would have been the loser at the end of the story. Except that with Obama at least it won't piss off almost every other country on Earth.

I admit that it could be a pretty hard choice for some people. Working to have good diplomatic relationship with other countries or just strengthening your own ? Choosing one automatically made the other option impossible.

  2. As an Australian, I simply say this:
We don't want your Republicans here, thank you very much.

    1. A good portion of our Democrats are not much better, I am afraid...
