Dream Radar genies have Dream World flag

Today, the official Pokémon site revealed that the genies caught through the Dream Radar have their Dream World flag activated. What does this mean? Well, when you revert them to their regular forms using the Reflecting Mirror, said regular forms will have their DW abilities - Defiant for Tornadus and Thundurus, Sheer Force for Landorus. I'm not too hot on Defiant, but Sheer Force Landorus might be interesting. As a bit of trivia, this is going to be the first time in almost two years that a gen 5 Pokémon is going to have access to its DW ability, the only other cases so far being the in-game Musharna and Darmanitan from BW1. Is it a sign that more are on their way? Let's hope so...

  1. Depending on whether or not non-Unova Pokemon can be caught, I may just get a legitimate Speed Boost Blaziken yet. Oh, and Impostor Ditto as well. Just hope this is better than the Dream World. Also, someone who wants to use Thundurus as the Uber he is gets to buy the first White and catch him there and get the Mirror anyway. Now, Tornadus's Sacred Beast Forme may spark some small popularity. Hey, why not put Snivy there as well to give it Contrary. I doubt they would do that...

  2. By the way, what do you think about the addition of an achievements system in Pokemon games ? Because apparently, that's what the medals will be there for.

    1. Well, they're pretty cool, I guess. Everyone else is doing it, so why not Pokémon?

  3. I'm willing to bet that this 3D Augmented Reality thing is going to be where we'll access all the gen 5 hidden ability pokes. It's lazier than making the art team draw overworld sprites for them, and you have to buy it separately, so LETS SHOVE THOSE GEN 5 HIDDEN ABILITIES INTO AR!

  4. To be honest, if they decided to move the Dream World to the Dream Radar in its entirety I'd be much, much happier. It actually looks like a half-decent concept - not riveting, but a damn sight more interesting than crappy flash games.

  5. I don't think I'll actually get Dream Radar, though. If it costs like £7, just to get the Kami trio's alternate formes, it wouldn't be worth it for me. If it's cheap, then maybe.
