Now that I have your attention, it's time for a change of pace from the repeated (and possibly repetitive) BW2 posts!
Remember this one fanfic I advertised a few times in my LPs, combining two things that I usually don't hold in very high regard, namely fanfiction in general and Pokémon Colosseum? Well, it has been completed, and you can now read it in its full glory and completed-ness here. It's been a long ride, as the wait for each chapter quickly became akin to waiting for new material from ProtonJon. But just like Jon, Bobandbill managed to make it worth the wait every single time. Massive props to a guy who perpetually makes me wonder how the likes of Stephenie Meyer can make a living by writing.
I'm always tempted to try writing fan-fictions, but the standards are set so high and I would barely have time to work on them, so even if a miracle would happen to make me successful I would be killed by my own fans for being too slow.

I don't think it's a direct sequel, like MD2 wasn't a sequel to MD1.

ReplyDeleteI'll admit I'm a bit of a sucker for fanfic (the concept, at least), but the thing is that finding stuff that's actually good is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. The vast majority are obsessed with shipping, smut, or both (which I'm not overly fond of), so I can see why so many are put off by the concept.
