Sylveon's base HP is 95, starters also figured out?

The reasoning behind this is that it appears that all Pokémon that were used in the demo had fixed IVs, EVs and natures. And it just so happens that a level 100 Mewtwo had 353 HP there, which strongly suggests max IVs but no EVs. Should that be transposed to other species, we can find out that since a level 30 Sylveon had 106 HP, its base HP should be 95, which just so happens to match the typical 60-65-65-95-110-130 scheme Eeveelutions always have.

Working on finding more data to work on, to figure out the base HP of other new species. (I still can't believe NO ONE went to take a look at the other stats in the demo. Aren't they the slightest bit curious?)

Edit: Should this pattern carry over, then this means that Chespin has base 57 HP, Fennekin has base 40 or 41 HP, and Froakie has base 42 HP. For reference purposes, compared to the other starters, this means Chespin is a distant second to Tepig, while Fennekin and Froakie both have very low HP. As for Helioptile, it's either 45 or 46.

Edit 2: Apparently the buttons to see the stats were greyed out. Shame, I was really interested in seeing what those Mega forms had in them.

  1. Maybe they (people taking the photos to place on Serebii or Bulbapedia) greyed the Megas out so Genre Savvy people like you could not see how much the stats get changed when Pokemon MegaEvolve. Okay, that probably IS the reason, but still. Still, fascinating...

    1. It's not just the mega forms though, EVERY Pokémon had the button greyed out. They definitely knew we'd try to figure these out.

    2. Guess they are serious about the whole, "Everyone starting off on the same page with this new journey in the Kalos region," thing. Granted, CoroCoro will probably ruin that for them next month...

    3. Well they meant for everyone to start on the same page in Unova since there were no old Pokémon in BW1's main game, but let's just say the notion of an international release ruined the prospect for a lot of people. This is really the first time that international audiences can go into a Pokémon game blind. (Not that I will choose to, of course.)

    4. Whether I do depends on when I get the game. Granted, at White's American launch, I did not have the resources I do now to make my journey easier. When I get Y, I will use those sources (information I have varies, again, on WHEN) to my advantage...That or just use the old Pokemon I know are good and that I like (Jolteon, since I am not using Sylveon, will be one) and the starter. I will work out my evil plan closer to launch...

  2. Ummm... Chespin has the highest, not Fennekin.

  3. The low base HP for Fennekin gives me hope that it will be offensively oriented, perhaps with a high speed and special attack stat. Still hoping for Fire/Psychic, and the demo gave more hope for that.

  4. I expected Sylveon to have 130 HP, since being bloated HP bags is the trademark of pink pokemon.

    2. Old news, sorry. Hardly worth calling a discovery.

    3. Something that happened 4 days ago is old news? Man, time really is faster than it used to be. It's like the digimon world where one earth afternoon is 15 years in digimon time.

  5. The starter stats are difficult to compare as I only ever think about the final form stats.

Also, did you notice that the cries of Mewtwo and other first gen pokémon is different?

    1. They are finally moving up from the Gen 1 Pokemon Atari 2600 cries. I see no reason to hate that...
